Inspectors collected evidence at the site, conducted sampling and testing, and seized all remaining chemicals held by the company. The company's operations in Huli district have been shut down.    Authorities pledged to punish any violations in accordance with the law. A citywide inspection of local disinfection service providers is underway to identify and address irregularities, with zero tolerance for illegal practices in the industry.    On Monday noon, the company's legal representative, identified as Zhuang, told Xiaoxiang Morning Herald that the company had never used dichlorvos, but instead used professional disinfection products. Zhuang also claimed that the company had been maliciously reported by a former employee.    Zhuang said that two inspections conducted by Xiamen's market regulation authorities, one in late July and the other in early August, found no evidence of dichlorvos. However, the local authorities have not confirmed Zhuang's claims.    Dichlorvos is not permitted for use in catering venues due to its persistence and potential health hazards.
