The Office of Management and Budget issued a memorandum Monday revoking a 2023 directive that had barred TikTok from federal government devices over security concerns. On July 6, Trump publicly singled out so-called "China expert" Gordon Chang, criticizing his remarks on China as "always so negative." Trump said such warnings were overly alarmist.
